Quarterly Pest Management
Pest Ops has been serving Knoxville for over 25 years, and in that time, we have observed pest activity during each of the four seasons. That equals a lot of experience in knowing what to expect in the coming weeks and months around the calendar!
Our service is tailored to meet your needs and expectations. On each visit, we focus on the insect, spider, and rodent pests that will be active during that season. This knowledge, backed up by skilled technician application, allows us to PREVENT many pest invaders before they become a problem for you!
Pest Ops technicians are certified in the state of Tennessee and trained by both our Master Technician and our Board Certified Entomologist. They follow a seven-step inspection and service plan while on-site at your home.
1. Mulch Beds And Perimeter Landscaping
Mulch is decaying plant matter, and the majority of insects in East Tennessee love it.
2. Porches, Decks, and Structures
These places are the primary target of spiders to build webs and wasps to build nests.
3. Doors, Including Your Garage Door
A door is the easiest way for you to enter your home. It’s the easiest way for pests to enter your home as well.
4. Windows
Windows can provide numerous crevices to harbor insects and spiders. Some of those crevices can lead to the inside of your house.
5. Eaves And Gutters
While these areas are pretty far from the ground, they can still provide a home to numerous pests. If the house has soffit vents (and most do), pests can enter the attic or get inside the walls.
6. Plumbing Penetrations And HVAC
Every house is unique, and some are more secure than others. Penetrations are areas often overlooked that provide an easy access point to ants and other pests.
7. Crawl Space
If your house has a crawl space, it should be checked by your pest professional. Crawl spaces are unique environments. They are cooler than the outside in the summer and warmer than the outside in the winter. They are almost always dark and provide a place for all sorts of pests and creatures to live.
Mosquito Services

There are numerous species of mosquitoes in the Knoxville area. Male mosquitoes feed on nectar while females feed on blood. Their peak time of activity is dawn and dusk. During the day mosquitoes pass the time hanging from the underside of leaves on shrubs and trees. Asian Tiger Mosquitoes, the species that has the greatest health concern will rest in lower foliage (from 1’-8’ off the ground.
Our certified technicians carefully treat the shrubs and trees on your property to eliminate mosquitoes from their daytime resting places.
Pest Ops also inspects your property for breeding sites that mosquitoes can use. Any standing water may potentially allow eggs and larvae to develop. We review our findings and show you those locations we identify around your home and lawn to help eliminate the threat.
Our #1 concern while ridding your home of unwanted bugs and pests is the health and safety of your family and pets.
